Research Interests

My research interests are focused on relational memory for words and faces in patients with amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment (aMCI), putative predemential Alzheimer’s disease. Relational memory is a fascinating domain which enables humans to learn and retrieve complex information. This ability is known to decline to some extent in aging and more importantly in the context of aMCI, but these memory impairments still need to be better characterized. The goal of my PhD is to explore specific relational memory effects and processes with words and faces as stimuli. These effects and processes will be investigated in young people, healthy elderly and aMCI patients. My approach will combine behavioral and imaging methods.
