Research Interests
I am interested in the neural basis of face perception and face learning, that is, the processes by which novel faces become familiar. During my PhD, I studied the time course of individual face recognition using behavioural and event-related brain potential (ERP) measures in both typical and atypical populations. In addition, I explored face recognition ability across the spectrum from impaired face recognition (prosopagnosia) to super-recognition. Currently, I am using steady state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP) as a technique to investigate learning, visual expertise and face perception.
