Research Interests
My primary research interest is understanding the way in which visual system integrates the information across different spatial regions into a coherent representation. Both written words and faces are conspicuous cases of such integration. Previously I have studied visual word recognition with the emphasis on interhemispheric cooperation. My current work is dedicated to face processing.
In my research I use a variety of EEG methods both time and frequency based. In addition I am interested in using EEG in combination with eye-tracking and TMS techniques. Currently my primary methodological focus is steady state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP).
