Research Interests

My research interests started developing from my undergraduate studies where I first came across the topic of face recognition. Since then, I have been intrigued by the human ability to recognize, remember, and distinguish between a vast number of individual faces.
In my PhD, I study face-identity recognition with a combination of Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation (FPVS) paradigms and electrophysiological methods such as Stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and single/multi unit recordings with intracerebral microwires implanted in patients with epilepsy.
Our goal is to provide a better understanding of how our brains respond to the facial aspect of identity with a robust and accurate technique while maintaining supreme temporal and spatial accuracy.
